Based in Hailey, Idaho, Red Star Ironworks is a distinguished provider of custom, hand-forged, and fabricated architectural ironwork. We pride ourselves on working in tandem with our clients and their building teams to design and create unique, lasting metalwork.

Established in 1999 by Peter Lambert, hailing from the well-known "Steel City", Red Star Ironworks blends his love for art, sculpture, blacksmithing, and fabrication. Over the past twenty years, Red Star Ironworks has earned a reputation as Pittsburgh's premier artisan blacksmith shop, delivering a wide range of pieces for both public and private settings. The company also runs a successful apprenticeship program, with its artistic influence reaching across the United States and beyond.

The year 2011 saw the expansion of Red Star with a new branch in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, led by Zachary Ennis. RSI San Miguel has been responsible for creating numerous works in this historic Mexican city, with Ennis and his skilled team contributing to some of Red Star’s most significant projects.

The year 2021 was a pivotal one, with the relocation of Red Star Ironworks LLC to Hailey, Idaho, under the joint leadership of Peter Lambert and Zachary Ennis. With a focus on steady growth, Ennis stated, “We aim to gradually become a part of the valley, one client at a time.” Lambert noted, “Sun Valley is the third community we’ve introduced ourselves to, and it’s certainly our preferred location.” Red Star Ironworks continues to excel in a region filled with outstanding talent.
